About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in product strategy discussions and contribute to the overall vision and roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering managers to lead a Product Squad.
- Work with stakeholders to define and implement solutions for B2C and B2B web applications and an internal platform.
- Contribute to implementing Product Design best practices and increasing product culture maturity.
- Conduct user research to gather insights, identify user needs, and inform design decisions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Create detailed handoff documentation, including design files, component specifications, and interaction behaviors.
- Iterate and refine designs based on feedback, user testing, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure consistent visual language across applications using the core Brand ID and design systems.
- Advocate for user-centered design and promote design best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design initiatives.
- Extensive experience in the travel industry, and/or luxury products and services, is highly preferred.
- Experience in web design and diverse user research techniques will be appreciated.
- A strong passion for travel and creating exceptional user experiences.
- Proven proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Demonstrated expertise in UI design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Deep understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding and experience with product strategy, metrics and OKRs.
- Experience leading design reviews and mentoring other designers.
- Experience in fast paced growing environments, either in start ups or nimble structures.
- Experience defining and implementing design best practices.
- Must work outside of the United States.
- Work conducted in English.
- Generally maximize overlap with California hours.
