About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product roadmap by speaking with personal injury lawyers and staff, identifying high-value workflow problems, and creating a prioritized plan
- Write product specifications and acceptance criteria for engineering implementation
- Define feature behavior, test AI outputs against real legal work product, and establish quality standards for release
- Run discovery and feedback loops with early customers, including Zinda Law Group
- Define and track feature metrics including adoption, time saved, output quality, and retention
- Make product decisions and adapt quickly in an ambiguous early-stage environment
- Work directly with the founders and engineering team to determine what to build, why, and in what order
- Ensure shipped features work effectively for lawyers and legal assistants
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience shipping a 0-to-1 software product or major feature as the accountable Product Manager
- Direct experience working with engineers; ability to read technical designs and discuss APIs, data models, and model behavior
- Hands-on experience shipping or working with LLM or AI-powered features
- Experience using AI tools for personal work
- Experience building software for demanding professional users in legal, healthcare, finance, or similar workflows
- Experience in small, fast-moving companies where processes had to be built from scratch
- Demonstrated self-directed work personally driven by the candidate
- Roughly 4–10 years of total professional experience
- At least 3 years of product management experience
- Meaningful tenure at each previous employer with logically explainable job changes
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Austin, Texas, United States
