About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end design of product enhancements in the repayments space across app and web
Define thoughtful use of AI to research, prototype, validate, ship, and scale product experiences
Contribute to AI adoption within Product Design and cross-functional teams
Identify where AI accelerates insight, reduces operational friction, and improves design quality
Experiment with, implement, and scale new AI-enabled workflows
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Risk, and Compliance to use AI responsibly
Identify inefficiencies and propose AI-enabled solutions
Build confidence in new workflows with Product Management and Engineering partners
Identify dependencies across initiatives and escalate alignment conversations
Architect intuitive, flexible repayment journeys across mobile and web
Design payment rescheduling, early payoff, and automated reminder experiences
Integrate AI-driven insights and personalized financial assistance into repayment interfaces
Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Finance to ensure transparent, compliant repayment interactions
Redesign workflows using approved AI tools for research synthesis, ideation, and validation
Create repeatable AI-assisted frameworks for prototyping and experimentation
Improve design-impact measurement using AI for pattern detection and signal extraction
Embed AI into cross-squad collaboration and clarify trade-offs
Document complex user journeys and systems and onboard others into AI-enabled workflows
Participate in roadmapping and planning, factoring AI efficiencies into delivery models
Analyze post-launch feedback with AI and surface improvement opportunities
Support other designers and writers through skill shares and feedback
Improve team culture and rituals to normalize experimentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and measurable impact, not just polished screens
5+ years of experience designing at scale in product, UX, or interaction design
Experience working on complex, multi-product ecosystems with cross-functional dependencies
Demonstrated ability to frame work within long-term product strategy while independently owning execution
Strong ability to interpret metrics and make data-informed decisions
Experience leading lean experiments and validating hypotheses quickly
Comfort exploring a breadth of options and articulating trade-offs clearly
Experience documenting complex systems and onboarding others effectively
Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with clear and concise written communication
A clear, predictable design process that partners can rely on
Ability to manage bandwidth and surface risks early
Open mindset toward change and actively seeking opportunities to expand skills
Experience incorporating AI-powered tools into research, prototyping, documentation, or design operations
Pragmatic understanding of how work contributes to business outcomes and customer financial well-being
