About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work cross-functionally across the FP&A team as you grow within the company
- Deepen the team’s core analyses, including performance reporting and earnings forecasts
- Build business cases for projects
- Contribute to the budgeting process
- Influence company prioritization and resource allocation
- Model the portfolio’s macroeconomic risk with the Credit team and define short-term actions
- Analyze the economics of new acquisition channels
- Model quarterly planning initiatives and track trends against the company’s ambitions
- Bring financial acumen to decision-making by looking beyond the numbers and considering the broader business context
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong command of core concepts, including P&L analysis across different industries, consolidated and segment-level portfolio unit economics, and Economics and Statistics principles
- Experience building business cases and business forecasts
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with BI and data visualization tools
- Experience using SQL, Python, or a similar language for data analysis
- Critical thinking and first-principles reasoning
- Proactivity, autonomy, and a hands-on approach
- Clear and concise communication tailored to the audience
- Availability for in-person onboarding in São Paulo during the first month, and to be in São Paulo for at least two weeks per quarter
- Experience in financial services, particularly Credit and/or Merchant Acquiring, is a plus
- Familiarity with Accounting and/or in-depth knowledge of Corporate Finance is a plus
