About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build Zippi’s Procurement function from the ground up
Serve as a consultative right-hand partner to business teams
Create a single source of truth for suppliers, contracts, pricing, expiration dates, and terms
Build a renewal calendar to enable proactive negotiations
Design a purchasing policy based on spend tiers, exception rules, and requisition workflows
Use AI and low-code/no-code tools—or procure an off-the-shelf solution—to streamline purchasing
Lead negotiations for the most strategic contracts
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, volume, and renewal conditions
Monitor usage, consumption, and renewals for active contracts
Identify value-capture opportunities in existing contracts
Orchestrate supplier due diligence with Legal, Security, and Tax teams
Create procurement playbooks and manuals
Measure and report the value generated by the function
Manage key Technology, SaaS, Marketing, and Data Provider partners and contracts
Independently structure and execute processes while setting priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 4 years of experience in indirect procurement, vendor management, or a related function
Experience working at technology companies or startups
Experience designing, helping design, or restructuring procurement or vendor management processes
Ability to adapt policies to business needs
Ability to build trust with teams and stakeholders at diverse levels of seniority
Experience negotiating multidisciplinary contracts, including technology, marketing, and data agreements
Ability to interpret price adjustment, overage, automatic renewal, and payment-term clauses
High autonomy and willingness to execute in an environment without established policies, systems, or processes
Active use of AI and no-code/low-code tools at work
English proficiency for negotiating with international suppliers
Experience with supplier due diligence at a regulated, audited, or publicly listed company is a plus
Experience with SaaS, cloud, credit bureaus, and marketing is a plus
Experience with process automation and systems integration is a plus
Knowledge of tax matters and the impact of Brazil’s Tax Reform on procurement and contracting is a plus
