About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers specializing in frontend graphics and high-performance backend systems
  • Own the technical roadmap across deep single-vehicle introspection tools and fleet-wide analytics platforms
  • Architect strategies to push browser performance boundaries across complex 3D rendering, time-series data, video streaming, and multi-layered map assets

  • Partner with autonomy, safety, and infrastructure teams to convert debugging workflows into intuitive visualizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience managing, recruiting, and developing high-performing software engineering teams
  • 7+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong foundation in complex, data-intensive web applications or developer tooling
  • Direct experience or leadership in pushing browser execution limits, including client-side memory management, WebGL/Three.js execution, WebAssembly, or large data streaming
  • Strong dedication to technical user experience and intuitive UI design for developer workflows
