About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop creative solutions to accelerate the rollout of Zoox's operational, infrastructure, and testing footprint
- Define requirements and frameworks for leveraging strategic partnerships in rapid city deployments
- Drive flexible site development, focusing on integration speed and expanding service capabilities across the partner real estate network
- Lead joint development initiatives as the primary operational link between external stakeholders and internal teams
- Ensure seamless integration of new sites and infrastructure
- Identify and evaluate strategic external networks and partners supporting specialized fleet requirements
- Drive expansion strategies that accelerate market entry and expansion speed
- Support procurement and partnership initiatives for Zoox's testing infrastructure requirements
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Engage engineering, operations, manufacturing, strategy, finance, and design stakeholders
- Develop and execute short- and medium-term business and technology roadmaps supporting vehicle development and service deployment
- Own the physical and procedural blueprint enabling Zoox to activate and expand new cities quickly
- Support operational planning, forecasting, decision-making, and long-term strategy for Zoox's service and testing operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in operations strategy, joint development, or scaling physical infrastructure within mobility, logistics, or autonomous technology
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, operations management, environmental studies, or equivalent
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex operational integrations or strategic partnerships from ideation through successful launch
- Ability to view project dependencies end-to-end and proactively mitigate risks or prepare for future needs
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment, bridging external partners and internal operations, engineering, and product teams
- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a bonus qualification
- Direct experience scaling physical operations or launching new city markets for a technology-driven transportation network is a bonus qualification
- Strong analytical background and ability to build quantitative operational models to evaluate scaling strategies and infrastructure investments is a bonus qualification
