About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and guide departments in procuring IT software, hardware, and services
- Focus on CRM, ERP, SaaS, and related procurements to support operational scaling and efficiency
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships and procurement opportunities to support market growth
- Guide and inform internal stakeholders regarding supplier selection and management
- Identify sourcing alternatives through benchmarking, competitive quotes, and areas for change
- Negotiate costs and terms and conditions to create a total cost of ownership
- Ensure a smooth source-to-pay process with stakeholders and the finance team throughout the product lifecycle
- Establish, grow, and scale Zoox’s IT, software, and IT services foundation
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and IT colleagues on complex autonomous mobility and go-to-market challenges
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, contracting and/or supply chain management
- 4+ years of experience in technology categories, including networking hardware, software, services, and associated agreements
- Strategic sourcing, financial and business opportunity analysis, comfort with legal frameworks, and contract negotiation skills
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts, including reviewing redlines and identifying and offering solutions to potential issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Open-minded self-starter able to provide insightful feedback, strategies, and thoughts to stakeholders and suppliers
