About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive triage accuracy and routing for defects, high-severity live-service issues, and safety-critical events
- Run triage reviews and route issues to downstream teams
- Track throughput, misclassification, latency, backlog aging, automation coverage, and regulatory-reportable issues
- Flag risks early and provide leadership with decision-ready updates
- Program-manage triage tooling and automation
- Gather requirements for tools and automation, sequence automation work, and track delivery, adoption, and freed capacity
- Manage intake paths, escalation criteria, and shared boards
- Turn milestones into quarterly triage commitments
- Forecast demand across onshore, offshore, and vendor teams
- Partner with software development, software integration, QA, safety, product, vehicle operations, and the Program Management Office
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in technical program management or engineering operations
- Systems mindset with ability to understand connected hardware-software systems and trace changes upstream and downstream
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience writing queries and building dashboards on high-volume issue or operational data
- Track record of using metrics to change how work runs
- Experience building light tooling to run programs
- Experience partnering with engineering to automate manual work
- Ability to align teams without direct authority and provide clear, concise leadership updates
- Track record of breaking complex or ambiguous problems into workstreams, milestones, and owners
- Bonus: Autonomous vehicle, robotics, or other safety-critical experience
- Bonus: Experience with simulation, log replay, or regression testing
- Bonus: Experience program-managing internal tools or automation through adoption
- Bonus: Python or SQL, Jira, and Confluence
