About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Analysts across Zopa to deliver trusted insights for decisions and improve the Joint Account product
- Design and evaluate statistically rigorous experiments to support rapid, iterative product development
- Define metrics serving as the source of truth for product performance, user experience quality, and progress on key results
- Own the analytics roadmap, identify analysis opportunities, and prioritize high-impact work
- Develop AI-enabled analytics tools for natural-language insight generation and internal data applications
- Develop a detailed understanding of customers and how they use the account
- Guide product development toward innovative features and experiences
- Own customer outcomes
- Communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels, including managers and leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in an analytical role
- Strong data manipulation skills in SQL and/or Python
- Comfortable working with large datasets and extracting insights that drive decision-making
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as fintech, a startup, or consulting
- Ability to prioritize for impact and balance precision and effort according to context
- Ability to solve unstructured, open-ended problems and isolate signal from noise
- Ability to communicate clearly and explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-starter with a bias to action
- Excitement about building innovative banking products
- Nice to have: Experience conducting experiments such as A/B tests and causal analyses
- Nice to have: Expertise in intuitive data visualizations and self-serve data products
- Nice to have: Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Nice to have: Experience defining and building metrics for conversion, activation, retention, and engagement
- Nice to have: Experience with consumer-facing fintech or similar digital products
