About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research, develop, and define differentiated product positioning and messaging
  • Translate product capabilities into buyer-facing narratives for different personas
  • Build and maintain messaging frameworks for Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and ongoing buyer research
  • Own go-to-market planning and execution for product releases and feature launches
  • Coordinate launches cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Generation
  • Define launch tiers, build timelines, and track stakeholders
  • Write release notes, blog posts, customer emails, sales alerts, and website copy
  • Build and maintain sales enablement materials including battlecards, objection-handling guides, pitch decks, one-pagers, and ROI frameworks
  • Run practical sales enablement sessions and iterate based on field feedback
  • Shape and review marketing content, including solution briefs, white papers, case studies, and website copy
  • Develop thought leadership to build market credibility
  • Monitor competitive positioning, new entrants, and market developments
  • Produce competitive briefs and battlecards for Sales
  • Bring competitive insights into product and marketing decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience at a SaaS or technology company
  • Experience developing product positioning and leading product launches
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Experience building messaging frameworks and using win/loss data to iterate
  • Hands-on experience developing sales enablement materials
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Ability to work independently and own work end-to-end
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action
  • Nice to have: Experience marketing to public sector, education, or government buyers
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with Highspot or Seismic
  • Nice to have: Experience at a high-growth startup
  • Nice to have: Background in category creation or narrative-led marketing
