About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage research and innovation projects by coordinating partners and internal resources for effective execution
- Align project contributions with Product Management, R&D, Sales, and other company functions, and report to leadership
- Identify new sources of funding and develop a sustainable and effective funding strategy
- Write and review project proposals and engage with funding agencies
- Represent assigned projects with partners, customers, and at relevant external events
- Provide application-specific customer support within the projects
- Establish new customer contacts, maintain existing relations, and secure future sales mainly related to quantum computing
- Take over project responsibility and work closely with product management and R&D
- Participate technically in sales activities, learning about the market and customers and contributing to commercial success
- Contribute to the company’s strategy, goals, and success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, ideally related to quantum computing research
- Practical scientific lab experience
- Experience in RF/microwave signal generation and measurement is a plus
- Passion for collaboration and successful international stakeholder management with excellent cultural sensitivity
- Experience in writing research proposals and research project execution
- Strong interest in learning about technology, applications, marketing, and sales in a scientific market
- Industry experience in product management or R&D project management is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally for partner meetings and events
