Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and enhance Prophet models supporting IFRS 17 reporting, risk-based capital reporting, and business planning
Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand evolving requirements and translate them into effective modelling solutions
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process enhancements, automation, and innovative ways of working
Ensure models and associated processes comply with company governance standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain clear and robust modelling documentation
Perform testing and validation activities to demonstrate the accuracy, reliability, and suitability of actuarial models
Support internal and external audit activities by evidencing modelling controls and governance processes
Contribute to cross-functional projects and business initiatives with actuarial expertise and technical insight

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in Prophet model development, Prophet Professional and Prophet Enterprise is essential
Full or part qualification as an actuary
A strong degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Advanced technical skills in MS Excel and MS Access/SQL
Experience within the life insurance industry
Knowledge of a range of life insurance products, particularly unit-linked business
Understanding of IFRS 17 and risk-based capital reporting requirements
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to a broad range of stakeholders
Proactive mindset, with confidence to challenge existing approaches and drive continuous improvement
