Requirements

What you’ll need

Staff Legal Attorney: Juris Doctor and 1 or more years of experience in the Litigation area
Staff Legal Attorney: Member of the Bar in good standing in jurisdiction(s) in which practice is located
Trial Attorney: Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of litigation experience
Trial Attorney: Member in good standing of the California State Bar
Experience working with Lexis or Westlaw
Trial Attorney: Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe
Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims and insurance defense litigation legal environment
Knowledge of law and procedure
Experience using Lexis, Westlaw, or similar legal research platforms
GL trial experience preferred
Strong communication and negotiation skills preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities preferred
Ability to manage a caseload independently preferred
Experience working in a collaborative team environment preferred
Trial, hearing, mediation, and settlement experience preferred
Senior Trial Attorney candidates: experience handling moderate- to high-complexity matters, mentoring attorneys, and serving as a subject matter resource preferred
