About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Find, review, and analyze content from pharma/biotech or MedTech company web sources
- Bring sourced content into the platform for users through data and machine learning processes
- Participate in data projects expanding the depth of information available to users
- Manipulate spreadsheets, perform prompt engineering for large language models, and use basic coding
- Collaborate daily with the Zymewire or Zapyrus data team
- Help ensure users receive up-to-date and comprehensive industry activity for sales and marketing efforts
- Complete a 4-month rotation with each of the Zymewire and Zapyrus teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Registered full-time or part-time under a co-operative education program in a publicly funded Ontario post-secondary institution and enrolled for the duration of the co-op
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Background in STEM (biology, chemistry, or physics)
- Interest in medical technologies or healthcare
- Experience and interest in prompt engineering for LLMs and basic coding experience
- Highly organized
- Very comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets
- Tech-savvy and excited to work for a software company
- Curious, detail oriented, and able to solve puzzles
- Available for an 8-month co-op/internship term
