Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer – Freelance

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage, accuracy, and reliable delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage available tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution while meeting defined requirements
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic and interactive web sources, adapting approaches for JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior
• Enforce data quality standards through validation checks, cross-source consistency controls, formatting specifications, and systematic verification before delivery
• Scale scraping operations for large datasets using efficient batching or parallelization
• Monitor failures and maintain stability against minor site structure changes
• Handle specialized data scraping workflows for real-world applications within the Tendem project using tools such as Apify, OpenRouter, and other technologies

Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer

• Build and own the connector and adapter layer so providers can be added or replaced through configuration and thin adapters
• Migrate payment methods from redirect flows to server-to-server and embedded flows where supported, and measure the results
• Own reconciliation, transaction status handling, method configuration and payment flows into the client portal downstream of the orchestration layer
• Make transaction status reliable end to end through active polling, idempotent processing and reconciliation
• Build observability over transaction status and provider performance
• Specify and review orchestration platform behavior including transaction state machines, idempotency, polling, routing and cascading rules
• Support integration work for the card programme
• Extend the integration set to acquired entities through configuration rather than new builds
• Take over the integration codebase, strengthen transaction status handling and ship a first server-to-server integration
• Establish the adapter layer, launch providers against it and make transaction status and provider performance observable
• Lead migration to server-to-server and embedded flows across payment methods and extend integrations to other entities

Senior Backend Engineer – Payments
