About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own 1Kosmos's messaging architecture from company narrative to product, persona, use-case, partner, and vertical messaging.
- Translate technical differentiation into buyer-facing value for CISOs, IAM leaders, fraud and risk teams, security architects, HR and workforce leaders, and public-sector stakeholders.
- Build narratives for established offerings and emerging initiatives, including KYE and KYA.
- Define and maintain ICPs, buyer personas, jobs-to-be-done, use-case maps, and proof points.
- Partner with Sales leadership and account teams on priority opportunities.
- Turn recurring strategic-deal questions into reusable collateral.
- Build and maintain executive decks, discovery guides, solution briefs, use-case narratives, battlecards, objection handling, demo storylines, ROI and proof-point libraries, and one-pagers.
- Lead enablement for major launches and new narratives.
- Use win/loss signals, deal reviews, and seller feedback to improve positioning and enablement.
- Build a repeatable customer-evidence program covering measurable outcomes, deployment speed, fraud reduction, user experience, operational impact, and expansion stories.
- Develop case studies, video testimonials, references, proof-point slides, and vertical-specific stories.
- Create a searchable proof library.
- Maintain substantiation for metrics and product claims.
- Own competitive and market intelligence across identity, fraud, workforce, authentication, and emerging agent-security markets.
- Translate competitor moves into positioning and product guidance.
- Maintain competitive battlecards and trigger-based guidance.
- Track category shifts, analyst research, standards activity, partner ecosystems, and adjacent technologies.
- Develop vertical narratives for Healthcare, Retail, Financial Services, Federal/SLED, Higher Education, and Enterprise Workforce.
- Partner with Demand Generation and BDR leadership on ABM, outbound, event, webinar, executive outreach, and digital campaign motions.
- Support partner go-to-market with joint solution narratives, marketplace or channel collateral, co-marketing assets, and partner-facing enablement.
- Own go-to-market planning for major launches and releases.
- Partner with Product and Sales on packaging, pricing inputs, SKU clarity, marketplace positioning, and commercial options.
- Create launch tiers and a practical readiness process.
- Bring market and field feedback into product strategy, roadmap discussions, and future launch plans.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of B2B product marketing experience, including meaningful time in a startup or high-growth environment where you personally did the work as well as set direction.
- Strong domain fluency in identity, IAM, cybersecurity, fraud/risk, workforce security, or an adjacent enterprise technology market.
- Direct identity-verification experience is valuable but not the only path to success.
- Track record of building positioning and messaging from the ground up, validating it with customers and sellers, and changing it when market evidence says it is not working.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles involving technical architecture, security, compliance, procurement, partners, and business value.
- Evidence that enablement changed seller behavior or commercial outcomes.
- Strong competitive instincts and ability to distinguish meaningful differentiation from feature-by-feature noise.
- Exceptional writing and editorial judgment.
- Ability to turn technical discussions into CISO-ready stories, seller assets, analyst narratives, or partner briefs without losing accuracy.
- Comfort using modern AI-assisted research and content workflows, including tools such as ChatGPT Codex, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Ability to verify claims, protect confidential information, and edit for clarity and human tone.
- High agency and strong prioritization.
- Comfort with ambiguity and speed.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or an adjacent field.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
