About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and iterate on interactive dashboards in Hex for financial and business performance
Translate business questions into self-serve reporting and actionable analysis across ARR, paying customer accounts, retention, subscriptions, and related metrics
Contribute to trusted data models supporting new pricing approaches, product lines, and evolving business models
Support month-end, quarter-end, and financial reporting cycles by investigating variances, identifying drivers, and explaining changes
Automate recurring manual and spreadsheet-based tasks using AI skills and workflows
Partner with Analytics Engineering to productionize reporting sources, improve data quality, and maintain clear metric definitions
Present work to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Data and Analytics teams
Report to the Senior Manager, Financial Data Analytics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in analytics or a related data role
Proficiency in SQL, including joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and analysis of large datasets
Understanding of data modeling practices, including fact and dimension tables and star schemas
Ability to translate stakeholder questions into analytical deliverables, gather requirements, and improve dashboards based on feedback
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and careful attention to detail
Experience with Finance, Sales, or Go To Market (GTM) data is a plus
Familiarity with annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, subscriptions, or customer cohorts is a plus
Experience with BI or AI tools such as Hex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms is a plus
Exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources such as Salesforce, Stripe, or NetSuite is valuable
Must already be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; no work authorization, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship provided
Successful applicants must complete a background check
