About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish closing dates and times with members
  • Coordinate closing times with title companies and originators for purchase loans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent member service skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance
  • Available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis
  • Working knowledge of credit union mortgage products including purchase money 1st mortgages, 1st mortgage refinances, 2nd mortgages, HELOCs, bridge loans, government and construction loans
  • Understanding and application of federal regulations associated with mortgage loans
  • Ability to perform notary services
  • Working knowledge of the credit union's data processing system and loan origination system
  • Proficiency with Word and EXCEL software
  • Understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures
