About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor social media channels daily across multiple client accounts
- Respond to comments, questions, and direct messages while maintaining client brand voice and tone
- Engage with followers and amplify relevant user-generated content
- Foster positive community sentiment and build brand loyalty
- Manage interactions according to client guidelines, escalation protocols, and brand voice documents
- Track response times and flag urgent or sensitive comments
- Monitor brand mentions, tags, conversations, and online reviews
- Produce weekly sentiment reports with week-over-week and month-over-month comparisons
- Identify audience feedback patterns and alert teams to reputation issues or crisis situations
- Amplify positive feedback and testimonials with appropriate permissions
- Monitor competitor social activity and community engagement approaches
- Identify, organize, and obtain permissions for user-generated content
- Nurture relationships with brand advocates and support community initiatives
- Research influencers, creators, ambassadors, and micro-influencers
- Build creator databases and assess authenticity, demographics, content quality, and brand fit
- Conduct creator outreach and track responses and partnership opportunities
- Coordinate influencer briefs, timelines, deliverables, content calendars, and approvals
- Review creator content for brand alignment, accuracy, and FTC disclosure compliance
- Monitor influencer content performance and compile metrics for reporting
- Maintain creator relationships through check-ins, feedback, and communication
- Support content calendar planning and propose community-focused content
- Monitor trends, viral formats, and platform features
- Support content production by organizing assets, approvals, and posting schedules
- Maintain community protocols, templates, brand voice guidelines, influencer databases, and documentation
- Track community metrics and update social listening, management, and scheduling tools
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and client calls
- Support monthly reporting by compiling engagement data and sentiment insights
- Report to the Director of Social Media & Content and collaborate with Social Media Managers, Creative, and Client Success teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, community management, customer service, or digital marketing; internships and relevant academic experience welcome
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter)
- Exceptional written communication skills and ability to adapt tone and voice to different brand personalities
- Genuine empathy and customer service orientation
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts, conversations, and tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Buffer, or willingness to learn quickly
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and metrics
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and high-volume engagement
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, English, or related field preferred but not required
- Nice-to-have experience with influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or brand ambassador programs
- Nice-to-have familiarity with AspireIQ, Upfluence, CreatorIQ, or similar platforms
- Understanding of FTC disclosure requirements and influencer marketing compliance is a plus
- Knowledge of online reputation management and review platforms
- Experience with social listening tools
- Background in customer service, hospitality, or client-facing roles
- Interest in content creation, photography, or videography
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content creation or community management
- Understanding of Canva or Adobe Express
- Active personal social media presence demonstrating platform knowledge and engagement skills
