About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the commercial, technical, and advocacy strategy for the worldwide road, vehicle, and transit safety business
  • Own global commercial growth across traffic signage, pavement markings, and vehicle registration solutions
  • Lead and scale international sales teams
  • Manage strategic State and Country customer relationships
  • Cultivate executive-level partnerships with Departments of Transportation, global ministries of transport, and infrastructure contractors
  • Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies for high-visibility and digital traffic solutions
  • Execute pricing strategy, forecast demand, and drive profitable growth
  • Partner with Government Affairs on transportation legislation, funding bills, and safety mandates
  • Serve on international standards and policy committees
  • Translate emerging standards and infrastructure funding into commercial opportunities
  • Drive adoption of retroreflective sheetings and durable pavement markings for human drivers and autonomous vehicle vision systems
  • Expand secure vehicle identification products, including retroreflective license plate materials and digital registration technologies
  • Partner with R&D and Product Management to prioritize portfolio investment
  • Report to the President of Transportation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Twelve (12) years of leadership experience blending global B2B and B2G sales with transportation safety or infrastructure policy in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Proven track record of managing cross-border sales teams and navigating complex, long-cycle government procurement processes across multiple continents
  • Deep familiarity with global traffic device standards, such as the MUTCD or European equivalents, and vehicle compliance frameworks
  • Direct experience with government procurement and B2G contracting across multiple regions
  • Participation in or engagement with standards-setting bodies
  • Experience commercializing engineered-product portfolios in regulated markets
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural leadership across international teams
  • Ability to set a clear global growth agenda and translate it into regional execution and measurable results
  • Relationships with senior government officials, contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to lead distributed, multi-region teams and adapt commercial approaches to diverse regulatory and cultural contexts
  • Ability to guide the organization and portfolio through regulatory transitions and evolving technology
  • Ability to balance long-cycle B2G opportunities with near-term revenue and margin commitments
