About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets for fall protection products
- Conduct product demonstrations, safety presentations, and training sessions for customers and channel partners
- Serve as the subject matter expert within the territory for fall protection standards, regulations (OSHA, ANSI, ASSP, AGC), and best practices
- Collaborate with training, portfolio, activation, and technical teams to support key initiatives and product launches
- Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunity pipeline, and customer interactions in Salesforce
- Drive a company vehicle subject to pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle history review
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
- Contribute to 3M’s Environmental Health and Safety culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma and five (5) years of fall protection and/or safety/industrial product sales experience OR Bachelor’s degree or higher and three (3) years of fall protection and/or safety industry products experience
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Experience with fall protection product categories (anchors, harnesses, lanyards, SRLs, engineered system, rescue, confined space) preferred as an additional qualification
- Ability to captivate an audience while publicly speaking to large audiences
- Experience selling through industrial and construction distribution
- Experience selling PPE or industrial products to end-user companies
- Ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, and comfortably work at heights
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
- Willingness/ability to travel up to 25% overnight within the territory
- Must provide education and work history
