About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead capital engineering projects supporting Growth, Cost Reduction, EHS improvement, and Equipment/Facility Renewal
  • Lead teams including electrical, facilities, design, technical experts, and operations
  • Apply project engineering fundamentals including scope, budget, schedule, forecasting, communication, and financial analysis
  • Deliver project expectations and the best outcome for 3M
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Follow safety policies, identify hazards, and engage in continuous EHS improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s Degree/Technical Diploma or higher and five (5) years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management, OR Bachelor’s or higher and three (3) years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management
  • Education must be completed and verified prior to start from an accredited institute/institution
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Must satisfy applicable U.S. Export Control laws and assess U.S. person status
  • Expertise equivalent to that obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering
  • Five (5) years of combined experience in Capital equipment and/or Facilities project management
  • Prior experience with webline, extrusion, material handling, or inspection equipment
  • Ability to contribute in a matrix environment
  • Proficient with typical business, office, and technical software for spreadsheet computation and/or project presentation/scheduling
  • May include up to 25% domestic/international travel
