About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on meaningful projects supporting real business, sales, operations, program, and customer priorities
  • Support sales performance analysis, customer trends, market insights, reporting, forecasting, opportunity identification, and business performance tracking
  • Support sales programs, tools, training resources, process documentation, communication materials, customer engagement initiatives, and commercial execution activities
  • Support workflow analysis, process improvement, dashboard development, data visualization, stakeholder updates, project measurement, and recommendations to business leaders
  • Collaborate with innovative 3M employees around the world
  • Participate in training, networking, mentorship, corporate-sponsored events, and exposure to senior leadership
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures, security standards, and safety policies; identify hazards and support continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business, Business Analytics, or a related field from an accredited institution (additional qualification)
  • Completed a minimum of sophomore year (4 semesters) by the start of the internship (additional qualification)
  • Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (additional qualification)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze information, identify insights, and make recommendations
  • Exposure to data visualization, CRM, sales reporting, or sales intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and presentation skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Must provide education and work history in a resume or application fields
