About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the commercial point of contact for ANSYS solutions in the assigned territory
- Support industrial companies in their innovation projects by proposing suitable simulation solutions
- Develop and retain a portfolio of industrial customers
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities
- Grow sales among existing customers and acquire new accounts
- Promote the ANSYS solutions portfolio: mechanical simulation, structural analysis, CFD, electromagnetics, optics, embedded systems, and digital twins
- Understand customers’ technical challenges in order to develop high-value proposals
- Prepare and present commercial proposals with pre-sales and consulting teams
- Lead prospecting, discovery, demonstration, negotiation, and closing phases
- Track opportunities in the CRM
- Participate in sales events, trade shows, webinars, and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with consultants, pre-sales experts, and marketing teams
- Contribute to the strategy for developing the Simulation business in the assigned territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or equivalent
- At least 3 to 10 years of successful experience selling technical or software solutions
- Experience in numerical simulation, CAD, PLM, engineering, or industrial software is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in complex B2B sales techniques
- Ability to manage high-value sales cycles
- Experience developing customer portfolios and prospecting
- Ability to negotiate with senior-level stakeholders
- Good understanding of industrial environments
- Knowledge of simulation, CAD, PLM, or technical software is a plus
- Ability to understand customers’ business needs and translate them into concrete solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

- Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for new technologies
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
