About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the win/loss program end to end, including interviews, coding, synthesis and readouts for product and executive leadership
  • Develop competitive positioning and differentiation based on evidence
  • Conduct structural market analysis on buyer stack assembly, substitution, category convergence and future implications
  • Create field enablement for competitive situations, including battlecards, objection handling, trap-setting questions and talk tracks
  • Ensure competitive claims are sourced and supported
  • Monitor competitors and manage competitive intelligence tooling and field alerting
  • Provide input to roadmap, pricing and packaging, and analyst relations
  • Partner with pillar product marketing managers so competitive insight shapes positioning
  • Deliver a trusted win/loss program, evidence-based insights by competitor and segment, effective live-deal materials, and sourced competitive claims within the first 6–12 months

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years in competitive intelligence, product marketing or research-heavy go-to-market roles in B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on win/loss experience, including designing the program, running interviews and coding results
  • Ability to run primary research and accurately represent what data supports
  • Strong synthesis and writing skills
  • Comfort presenting uncomfortable findings to product and executive audiences and handling pushback
  • Fluency with the B2B SaaS buyer, ideally in martech, RevTech, sales intelligence or data platforms
  • Working knowledge of AI and agentic tooling
  • Experience with competitive intelligence and research tooling such as Klue, Gong or Dovetail is nice to have
  • Analyst relations exposure with Gartner or Forrester is nice to have
  • Background in or adjacent to ABM, intent data, GTM intelligence or revenue platforms is nice to have
  • Experience building a competitive intelligence function is nice to have
