About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee store operations as the Store Leader
- Provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for store employees
- Develop employees and leaders and support employee retention and productivity
- Execute merchandising and marketing initiatives
- Drive store profitability using P&L and store reports
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and rewards loyalty program promotion
- Maintain a clean, safe, presentable, and well-stocked store
- Work as part of the store leadership team with an Assistant or other leaders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- Ability to identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and encourage employee productivity
- Ability to oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs
- Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change
- Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe environment while complying with health and sanitation procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience
- Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence
- Automotive liability insurance during course of employment
- Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
