About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets and strategic partnerships
  • Develop and implement business development and sales strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor activity and opportunities
  • Generate leads and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through closing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Relevant experience providing professional services to the food industry
  • 5+ years' experience in business development, sales or account management
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
  • Strong sales and revenue-generation expertise
