About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond quickly to new inquiries and maintain consistent communication with students and parents throughout the admissions process
  • Complete required outbound calls to prospective students
  • Conduct telephone-based and on-site consultations regarding educational goals
  • Review programs and advise parents/students on admission requirements
  • Ensure admission paperwork is completed and filed appropriately
  • Enter new student information accurately into the CRM system
  • Maintain targeted conversion metrics throughout the admissions process
  • Recruit students who left the program and assist them with obtaining educational support
  • Attend internal meetings to monitor enrollment goals, review policies and procedures, and develop recruitment strategies
  • Analyze recruitment and retention data and make strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Travel for recruitment and school-related events
  • Ensure students/parents meet with Student Advisors to outline Program Completion Plans
  • Create community partnerships for student recruitment and attend community events
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes
  • Clearly articulate the mission and value of Pathways in Education
  • Make recommendations to continue or shift initiatives using tracked data
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 1 year customer service, telemarketing or sales experience (including admission experience)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing and speak publicly
  • High energy, attention to detail, and ability to organize effectively
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Gmail Suite
  • Ability to travel and work alternate hours, including weekends and evenings, as necessary
  • Ability to respond to requests for service and assistance
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Ability to complete all job requirements within the allotted time
  • Organized and results-oriented approach
  • Motivation to perform without extensive direction
  • High quality of work and accuracy
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
