About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive operational excellence across the European Logistics and Services network
- Lead initiatives improving productivity, quality, service performance, and process compliance across the region
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable improvements
- Drive adoption of new systems, automation solutions, and digital tools
- Partner with technology and platform teams to improve user experience and business outcomes
- Ensure regional processes and SOPs align with global standards
- Reduce operational variation and promote best practices across countries
- Serve as the key regional contact for process design, system enhancements, and change requests
- Support testing, deployment, and implementation of new capabilities
- Facilitate collaboration between Operations, Commercial, Product, Finance, and Technology teams
- Remove roadblocks and drive end-to-end process improvements
- Promote Lean thinking, root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision making
- Share successful solutions and improvement initiatives across the network
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years' experience within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations
- Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement roles
- Strong knowledge of forwarding processes
- Hands-on experience with freight forwarding platforms such as CargoWise or similar systems
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading transformation and change initiatives
- Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable process improvements
