About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor day-to-day Ocean execution across the CSE area and support stable operational performance
  • Follow vessel rotations, schedule changes, blank sailings, rollovers, capacity constraints and network disruptions
  • Identify operational impacts of network changes and support timely communication to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with local, regional and global teams to support effective execution
  • Escalate operational issues and follow up on agreed actions
  • Monitor cargo readiness, cut-offs, documentation readiness, VGM and gate-in compliance
  • Support adherence to Ocean processes, deadlines and standard operating procedures
  • Identify recurring execution issues and work with Operations, Customer Experience and OPEX teams on root causes and preventive actions
  • Support Ocean process governance, control mechanisms, escalation paths and operational reporting
  • Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement using TMW principles
  • Use operational data and trends to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities
  • Support root cause analysis, corrective actions and tracking of improvement initiatives
  • Develop and share standard work and best practices across the area
  • Consider customer impact and support timely, transparent communication during operational disruptions
  • Highlight operational or financial risks and support escalation
  • Collaborate with Ocean, Customer Experience, Network Operations, Terminals, OPEX, Finance and other functions
  • Provide fact-based updates and participate in operational reviews, control calls and continuous improvement discussions
  • Build working relationships across countries and functions within the CSE area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in Ocean operations, logistics, customer experience, transport operations or a similar operational environment
  • Understanding of Ocean processes and operational execution is an advantage
  • Interest in developing knowledge of vessel schedules, cargo readiness, operational deadlines and network execution
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with operational data and identify trends or recurring issues
  • Structured and organized approach with good attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across different teams, functions and countries
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
  • Interest in continuous improvement and root cause analysis
  • Good command of English
