About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the tender bidding process and coordinate with colleagues to submit comprehensive and competitive customer offers
Build and create technical transport solutions via sea, air, road, rail, and charter
Develop and prepare new logistics concepts and value propositions
Address customer requirements with cost-effective, high-quality end-to-end logistics solutions
Work closely with the Operations Manager and Business Development Team
Support effective implementation and execution of logistics solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant experience from freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or similar
Experience within Aid & Relief is an advantage, but not a requirement
High understanding of crosstrade and incoterms
Experience in account management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
Relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders
High-level logistics product understanding, including how it solves different customer pains
Ability to work in a hectic and complex environment
Ability to develop cost-effective, high-quality end-to-end logistics solutions
