About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the CR-NCAM Area's procurement and performance strategy and action plan
- Develop long-term supplier relations and strengthen external partnerships
- Optimize procurement spend across assigned purchase categories
- Optimize contracts for assigned purchase categories
- Register and follow up gameplan project performance and results in the Procurement reporting tool (PPM)
- Ensure compliance with global procurement processes and Maersk principles, policies, and standards
- Develop category strategy aligned with area business plans
- Enable sustainable and profitable growth through sourcing, operational optimization, and supplier innovation
- Perform supplier market, category, and supply risk analysis
- Develop Total Value Ownership models with internal users and support functions
- Draft contracts in Spanish and English and manage the overall contracting process with area legal experts
- Manage vendor onboarding
- Own service performance, implement corrective actions, and ensure SLAs are current
- Ensure legal, HSSE, policy, and ESG obligations are met and evidenced
- Validate invoices, reimbursables, advances/amortization, and budget adherence
- Run MOR/QBR cadence and maintain action and decision logs
- Manage change/claims processes and coordinate cross-functional reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- +2 years of direct Procurement and/or Sourcing experience
- Desirable working experience in the 3PL/4PL logistics sector/industry
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Customs or related areas
- Negotiation and management skills for contracts and sourcing negotiations
- Growth mindset and continuous improvement mentality
- Strong planning and prioritizing skills in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-departmental team
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Power BI, ERPs, and E-Procurement Systems
- English proficiency
