About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the 100% online Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program
  • Create annual DMSc block schedules and academic degree plans
  • Schedule faculty and prepare, execute, and track adjunct faculty contracts and payments
  • Assist with budget planning, forecasting, expenditure monitoring, reconciliations, and maintaining a balanced budget
  • Provide administrative support including budget tracking, textbook ordering, and remote-work support
  • Organize, ship materials for, and attend annual recruitment conferences
  • Work with Online Admissions throughout applications and issue admission offers
  • Coordinate the annual DMSc graduation awards reception and graduation logistics
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of records under FERPA and University policy
  • Support student academic progress through advising, attendance and probation monitoring, academic-record maintenance, remediation plans, and coordination with campus departments
  • Provide functional guidance to adjunct faculty, including onboarding, scheduling, contracting, and ongoing support
  • Liaise with university departments and offices supporting the DMSc program
  • Assist with reports, faculty evaluations, self-studies, continuous improvement, funding, and HLC accreditation
  • Update catalog information, marketing materials, and the DMSc website
  • Schedule online information sessions and virtual open houses; maintain the website schedule and RSVP form
  • Coordinate recruitment and lead-generation activities with Online Admissions and Communication & Marketing
  • Send new-student offers and onboarding information
  • Update and facilitate the Canvas New Student Orientation course
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four-year college degree
  • Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, education, healthcare administration, communication, or a related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and directly related experience will be considered
  • 2+ years of administrative, operational, or program-management experience in higher education, preferably supporting an online program
  • 1 year of leadership experience in higher education preferred
  • 1 year of recruitment/admission of doctoral candidates preferred
  • 1 year of Canvas LMS experience preferred
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace experience
  • Ability to travel 3–4 times per year
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of student, applicant, and personnel records in accordance with FERPA and University policy
