About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, analyze, interpret, and communicate insights and trends to influence strategies for growing and retaining ACA’s membership base
- Present results and solutions to senior leadership
- Perform statistical analysis to identify variances, trends, and correlations in membership data
- Develop target audience models for membership acquisition and salvage campaigns
- Assist with membership budget planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Prepare narrative reports, charts, and illustrations focused on membership metrics
- Analyze membership data across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual periods
- Assess membership renewal trends and reevaluate renewal programs
- Compile and analyze direct mail results and provide recommendations to senior leadership
- Study data from multiple sources to support leadership decision-making
- Provide analytical support to marketing and other business areas for acquisition and retention campaigns
- Identify and resolve data anomalies and quality issues by coordinating with appropriate business areas
- Develop, schedule, and oversee membership results and deliverables for executive leadership reports
- Create and maintain process documentation, policies, and procedures
- Protect and strengthen the AAA brand
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Mathematics, Economies, Statistics, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a data analyst
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Budget planning, forecasting and report building experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Office applications or other business intelligence applications is required
- Experience with a visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI is helpful but not required
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques required
- Ability to apply, transform, communicate and present statistical knowledge clearly to various business lines
- Ability to analyze reports and provide insights and trends to assist in developing business plans to drive membership growth and retention
- Must be able to work independently
- May be required to travel to out-of-state conferences or meetings as needed
