About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Diagnose and repair complex engine performance, transmission, electrical, electronic, steering, suspension, brake, ABS, traction control, heating, air conditioning, drivability, mechanical, and other vehicle concerns
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer procedures and recognized industry standards
- Troubleshoot complex vehicle concerns using technical expertise
- Mentor and support developing technicians and service associates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Continue developing technical knowledge through training and certification opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of professional automotive repair experience, including advanced diagnostic work
- Strong knowledge across multiple major vehicle systems
- ASE Master Technician certification, dealership certifications, or comparable advanced experience preferred
- Ability to obtain applicable ASE certifications within 12 months when required
- ASE L1 – Advanced Engine Performance Specialist certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
- Interest in mentoring and supporting other technicians
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and remain standing for extended periods
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, and fitness-for-duty assessment
