About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Service all partner insurance policies
  • Conduct comprehensive policy and product reviews with clients to maximize best-value options
  • Use tools and underwriting guidelines to assess risk, recommend products and coverage, quote, bind, and issue policies
  • Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs and retain prospective and current Members
  • Explain value propositions, answer questions, overcome objections, close sales, and collect payments
  • Ensure accurate and timely tracking, including documenting customer interactions and actions taken
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, propose solutions, and implement best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidate must live in Arizona or Utah
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in the language(s) required for the role, as justified for business necessity
  • Strong sales, customer service, tracking, and follow-up skills
  • Knowledge of software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, browsers, and email
  • Knowledge of AAA products, services, and systems preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to accept feedback and course correct as necessary
  • Bilingual communication skills preferred
  • Active Property & Casualty License or Personal Lines License preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One year of sales, retention or customer service experience
  • Acquires all unrestricted licenses required to sell Insurance and Membership products in all states serviced by the Member Service Center at the time of hire or added thereafter, required within 60 calendar days of (i) starting in the role, or (ii) expansion of the Member Service area
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace that is free of distraction
  • Ability to directly connect to ISP via Ethernet (No DSL, Satellite, Hot Spots, etc). Modem/Router must be in the same room as the computer equipment. Minimum 25 mbps download and minimum 5 mbps upload.
  • Ability to work a full-time, post-training schedule of Monday-Friday 10AM-7PM (MDT)
  • Ability to complete required Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (MDT) training for 6-8 weeks
