About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Greet customers, answer telephone calls, and schedule appointments
  • Review repairs and services with customers to ensure complete understanding
  • Contact customers about deviations from original cost estimates or vehicle pickup times
  • Record approval names, times, and additional costs for repair/service orders
  • Distribute work to shop technicians and monitor job progress and accuracy
  • Supply information to technicians as needed
  • Arrange repairs and payment for vehicles covered by extended warranty programs
  • Arrange towing and alternate transportation, including shuttle or rental vehicles, when necessary
  • Monitor vehicle inspection dates and ensure inspections are completed before due dates
  • Notify customers about manufacturer-recommended and state-required vehicle servicing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred, or three years relevant experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven Sales and Customer Satisfaction record
  • Knowledge of automotive technology
  • Ability to communicate automotive technology information to the support team, customers, and Auto Technicians
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings (background check and drug screening) if offered the position
  • Authorized to work in the USA
