About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Host an in-person Car Care Hiring Event on November 3, 2026
- Connect automotive professionals with career opportunities across Columbus-area AAA Car Care Plus locations
- Discuss Automotive General Service Technician, Automotive Repair Technician C/B/A, Automotive Service Advisor, Assistant Manager, and Manager opportunities
- Perform automotive work ranging from tires and routine maintenance to brakes, steering and suspension, electrical diagnosis, HVAC, engine performance, advanced diagnostics, and complex automotive repair, depending on position
- Help customers understand vehicle needs while partnering with technicians and shop leadership
- Develop teams, deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage shop operations, and drive business performance in leadership roles
- Meet with Car Care leaders and discuss current and upcoming openings
- Participate in initial onsite interviews for positions aligned with candidate experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Automotive experience levels ranging from individuals beginning their automotive careers to experienced diagnostic and repair professionals
- Experience developing teams, delivering an exceptional customer experience, managing shop operations, and driving business performance for leadership roles
- Qualifications and certifications may affect compensation
- Interested candidates should apply in advance; qualified applicants may reserve an interview time
- Walk-ins are welcome
- Candidates should discuss their automotive background, career interests, and preferred work location
