About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer inbound calls and assist members with questions related to AAA memberships
- Deliver personalized, proactive solutions and recommend valuable products and services
- Engage with members using strong communication and a friendly, problem-solving mindset
- Resolve issues quickly and critically in a non-scripted environment
- Navigate multiple systems and tools while actively listening and multitasking
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Participate in ongoing coaching and development to continually enhance performance
- Complete a 100% virtual training program lasting approximately 4 months
- Work full-time, 40 hours per week, with scheduled shifts during specified weekday and Saturday hours
- Take live calls during Saturday bullpen/on-the-job training shifts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior customer service experience
- Recent call center experience preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems in real time
- Flexible, “can-do” mindset and willingness to adapt to change
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must reside within the State of Texas
- Spanish fluency is a plus
- Dedicated, quiet workspace without interruptions
- Ability to directly connect to ISP via Ethernet; no DSL, satellite, or hot spots
- Modem/router in the same room as computer equipment
- Minimum 50–100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Ability to uphold productivity and confidentiality in a remote setting
- Regular attendance in virtual team meetings and training sessions
- Availability during standard business hours and flexibility for possible shift adjustments
