About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, analyze, interpret, and communicate relevant insights and trends to influence strategies that grow and retain ACA’s total membership base
  • Present results and solutions to the senior leadership team
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify variances, trends, and correlations in member demographics, purchasing behaviors, product utilization, membership penetration, and audience retention rates
  • Develop target audience models for membership acquisition and salvage campaigns
  • Assist in membership budget planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Prepare narrative reports, charts, and illustrations focused on membership metrics
  • Analyze membership data daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually to identify new and renewal performance trends across sales channels
  • Assess membership renewal trends and reevaluate renewal programs as needed
  • Compile and analyze direct mail results, reporting findings and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Study data from multiple sources to identify improvement areas and make recommendations for leadership decision-making
  • Provide analytical support to marketing and other business areas for membership acquisition and retention campaigns
  • Analyze data and processes for anomalies and quality issues; coordinate resolution with appropriate business areas
  • Develop, schedule, and oversee delivery of recurring results and deliverables for executive leadership membership reports
  • Create and maintain process documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Protect and strengthen the AAA brand
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Mathematics, Economies, Statistics, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a data analyst
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Budget planning, forecasting and report building experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Office applications or other business intelligence applications is required
  • Experience with a visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI is helpful but not required
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques required
  • Ability to apply, transform, communicate and present statistical knowledge clearly to various business lines
  • Ability to analyze reports and provide insights and trends to assist in developing business plans for membership growth and retention
  • Must be able to work independently
  • May be required to travel to out-of-state conferences or meetings as needed
