About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospect and develop new business in the industrial segment, conducting technical and commercial visits throughout the region (30–40% of the time)
  • Lead technical meetings in Portuguese and English with end customers, EPCs, integrators, and design engineers
  • Position ABB’s portfolio in new electrification projects
  • Analyze requirements and develop technical solutions, including diagrams, layouts, specifications, and cost estimates for low- and medium-voltage applications
  • Deliver technical training sessions, presentations, and workshops for customers and business partners
  • Provide technical support for ABB’s low- and medium-voltage portfolio, including switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS systems, ATS systems, monitoring systems, and building automation
  • Record visits and opportunities in Salesforce CRM
  • Share insights with the Sales and Product teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering
  • Advanced English proficiency for technical meetings and presentations
  • Previous experience with industrial customers and prospecting electrification projects
  • Technical knowledge of low- and medium-voltage products
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid driver’s license (Category B) for use of a company vehicle
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus
  • Experience with automation projects is a plus
