About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage in customer-facing implementation strategy to achieve sales growth across the ABB portfolio across the geography
  • Ensure individual BU sales targets are met or exceeded and net margin maximizes profits within the geography
  • Participate in C&I planning and ensure strategies align with district and regional C&I objectives
  • Contribute to talent management and recruitment
  • Coach team members to win and build trusting relationships across their customer base
  • Lead performance management and annual reviews for all C&I sales personnel
  • Develop and execute employee development plans, including technical and professional training
  • Coach sales teams to improve decision-making, planning, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate a “Go to Market Roadmap” strategy for new product releases with product marketing
  • Review channel partners’ progress, success and growth needs quarterly
  • Serve as escalation point for Channel commercial decisions
  • Manage top local account relationships and results
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to measure channel loyalty, strength and coverage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Business
  • Minimum 10-years related experience
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills
  • Senior Account Management experience
  • Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential projects to electrical contractors
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% throughout territory as needed
  • Territory will include Austin, San Antionio, Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma, and Louisiana
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the United States
