About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end digital transformation solutions across power generation, oil & gas, LNG, chemicals, life sciences, water, and infrastructure
Act as a trusted advisor and technical authority bridging OT, IT, ET, and enterprise systems
Translate customer business objectives into secure, scalable, and value-driven digital architectures
Engage customers, EPCs, consultants, and internal stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities
Define solution roadmaps and deliver measurable outcomes in reliability, efficiency, safety, and sustainability
Lead development of integrated digital and automation solutions with sales, engineering, service, cybersecurity, and partner teams
Design scalable and reusable digital solutions addressing sector-specific operational, safety, and regulatory requirements
Develop digital transformation roadmaps, target architectures, and phased implementation strategies
Build business cases and ROI models linking digital initiatives to measurable business outcomes
Serve as digital technical lead for strategic pursuits and key accounts
Define industrial data and integration architectures using OPC UA, MQTT, APIs, edge computing, industrial historians, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems
Embed cybersecurity, resilience, governance, secure connectivity, backup and recovery, monitoring, and compliance into solution designs
Support project execution and lifecycle value realization through technical delivery, testing, commissioning, user adoption, continuous improvement, and repeatable solution templates
Lead technical tendering, scope definition, compliance reviews, estimation, and risk assessments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science/IT, or another related discipline
Around 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial automation, digitalization, industrial software, operational technology (OT), technology consulting, or digital transformation
At least 5 years in solution architecture, technical leadership, or consulting roles
Strong expertise in DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, PMS, Industrial Historians, MES/MOM, APM, and enterprise systems integration
Experience delivering complex multi-system industrial solutions
Deep understanding of IIoT, Edge Computing, OPC UA, MQTT, APIs, Cloud and Hybrid Architectures, Data Lakes, Analytics, AI/ML, Digital Twins, and Data Visualization technologies
Solid knowledge of industrial networking, cybersecurity, identity management, high-availability architectures, virtualization, container platforms, data governance, and lifecycle management
Ability to develop architecture designs and technical specifications
Strong understanding of industrial operations, production processes, maintenance strategies, safety requirements, and business KPIs across relevant energy and process-industry sectors
Proven commercial and project experience supporting EPC projects, brownfield modernization, greenfield developments, lifecycle services, software subscriptions, and partner ecosystems
Experience with scope development, estimation, value engineering, ROI assessment, and risk management
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills
Ability to facilitate consultative workshops and lead cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams without direct authority
Customer-focused and strategic mindset
Ability to translate complex technologies into business value propositions, digital roadmaps, and scalable solutions
