About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and business process/data advice supporting ongoing operations and new software development
- Use knowledge of systems, procedures, and emerging technologies
- Oversee development and validate final product functionality
- Act as the functional point of contact for Sustainability and L&I reporting requirements
- Support the build of new structured data products
- Collect, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements
- Translate requirements into clear functional specifications for structured data products
- Collaborate with Business Data Owners, ESG and L&I experts, and IT teams on metrics and calculations
- Assess impacts of evolving requirements on existing data products and reporting processes
- Support change management, data quality management, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution
- Maintain functional documentation, data definitions, business rules, and reporting logic
- Support testing, validation, and business-user acceptance of data products and reports
- Flag risks, inconsistencies, and gaps in data and reporting processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Sustainability, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst, preferably in ESG, sustainability, or regulatory reporting contexts
- Good understanding of ESG and/or L&I reporting frameworks, KPIs, and data concepts
- Experience working with structured data, data models, and reporting solutions in a complex organization
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and communicate effectively with technical teams
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data quality
- Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset
