About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead ABB Motion Spain's HSE and Sustainability strategy across Service, projects, workshops, sales and offices nationwide
Lead, coordinate and develop Motion's HSE Specialist team and participate in ABB Spain's Internal Prevention Service (SPP)
Advise the Management Committee and promote a visible-leadership safety culture
Oversee identification, assessment and mitigation of critical risks in workshops, engineering projects and field services
Drive electrical-safety excellence and lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis and lessons learned
Lead decarbonisation, energy-efficiency and environmental-footprint reduction projects
Monitor and report sustainability and ESG indicators
Ensure compliance with Spanish occupational health, safety and environmental legislation
Maintain and integrate ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certified management systems
Liaise with labour inspectorates, auditors and regulatory bodies
Promote software tools, data analytics and technology solutions for prevention, document management and data-driven decisions
Contribute to ABB Motion Spain's business strategy and global and regional HSE network

Requirements

What you’ll need

Official Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL), mandatorily covering at least two of the three preventive specializations
Further training in Sustainability/ESG, ISO 14001/45001 management-system auditing or root-cause analysis methodologies valued
More than 10 years of proven professional experience in HSE management roles, directly leading and managing teams
Direct experience in contractor management, coordination of business activities (CAE) and safety during complex work at customer sites
Ability to combine practical, field-based experience with a long-term strategic business perspective
Excellent communication and multi-stakeholder management skills
Commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making based on KPIs
Fluency in English and Spanish required
