About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct activities related to handling parts and semi-finished or final products to and from production lines or the warehouse
- Handle and move material for production according to guidelines
- Perform warehouse and logistics activities in close collaboration with internal production teams
- Handle goods receipts from internal shuttle trucks and external deliveries
- Sort, arrange, and store materials according to guidelines
- Pick components for dispatch and final pallet packing
- Execute logistics activities according to established procedures and adapt to evolving processes
- Handle goods using equipment such as forklifts and indoor cranes up to 16 tons
- Serve internal customers and stakeholders while supporting smooth production operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualification as a Logistics Specialist (EFZ or equivalent qualification)
- Several years of professional experience in logistics or a production-related environment
- SUVA-recognized forklift licence for counterbalance and pedestrian-operated forklifts
- Experience with warehouse and logistics processes in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Ability to quickly absorb and adapt to new workflows
- Demonstrated reliable, independent working practices and ability to manage own workload in a structured environment
- Proficiency in ERP/IT systems such as SAP and general computer tools
- Experience with logistics software is an advantage
- Service orientation and customer focus, with ability to prioritize and respond to internal production stakeholders' needs
- Fluent German
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (ADR/IMDG/IATA) highly recommended
