About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Legal & Integrity advisory support to business stakeholders and ABB Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts throughout their lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders and manage legal and contractual risks
- Monitor and support legal affairs, including integrity, intellectual property, and litigation matters
- Support strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities as a trusted business partner
- Ensure compliance and support implementation of the Code of Conduct and global/local policies
- Provide training and guidance on Legal & Integrity topics
- Support business strategy development and address emerging challenges
- Foster collaboration and stakeholder relationships, including support for Country Corporate Counsel
- Contribute to cross-functional and multicultural teamwork under pressure
- Develop knowledge of ABB’s present and future portfolio to manage business and legal risks and opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Spanish law degree (Grado en Derecho) and qualification as “Abogado”
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience in a recognized law firm or multinational company
- Understanding of complex cross-border contractual setups for system deliveries
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High level of fluency in Spanish and English
- Willingness to travel
