About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice
Support internal customer service inquiries
Set inventory parameters and targets
Ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders
Define inventory policies based on specified segmentation
Calculate and maintain inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in planning systems and ERPs
Coordinate material planning with call-offs to ensure purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services
Collaborate with buyers to optimize supplier performance regarding on-time delivery, minimum order quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of SAP is nice to have
Available for flexible working hours, rotating shifts, and business travel
Degree in management engineering
Comfortable communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken
