About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics-related activities in Procurement
  • Execute assigned activities according to ABB standard procedures
  • Deliver and participate in training programs as required
  • Manage the end-to-end PR to PO process for direct and indirect procurement in SAP
  • Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations and Goods Receipts
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely supplier payment
  • Track procurement processes and operational performance
  • Maintain procurement reports, material master data, and SAP records
  • Execute purchasing and logistics-related changes and resolve issues involving cost, quality, and delivery
  • Support supplier registration, qualification, and first-level escalation management
  • Collaborate transparently with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support efficient procurement operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Business English (B2/C1), written and spoken
  • Italian (B2/C1), written and spoken
  • Highly skilled in operational procurement or supply chain management
  • Experience in operational procurement or supply chain management
  • Experience supporting purchasing processes and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Enhanced knowledge of SAP
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba considered an asset
  • Highly adept in Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced Excel skills an advantage
  • Customer service orientation, effective communication, teamwork, and proactive approach
